A commercial or public lift is defined as any lift that is not in a family residence. This includes churches, schools
and lodges. The lift could be an elevator, wheelchair lift, stairlift or dumbwaiter.
The State of California requires all commercial lifts to be properly maintained by a California Certified
Conveyance Mechanic (CCCM), employed by a Certified Qualified Conveyance Company (CQCC). A log book
must be maintained and available for review by Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) inspectors.
At Benchmark Home Elevator we will provide you with the necessary materials and service to meet the
requirements set forth by the State of California.
Benchmark Home Elevator offers:
- Service plans tailored to meet your individual needs as well as meet the requirements of the State of
California.
- Load tests and any other state required inspections on your special access lifts.
- Benchmark Home Elevator can evaluate your Special Access Lift(s) and make sure they are up to code
and running properly.
